Group Visits

For groups of 10 or more discounted group rates are available for pre-scheduled tours. Guided tours are $4.50/person and self-guided tours are $4/person.  Teachers are free.  To receive a group rate, pre-book your tour at least two weeks ahead of time for a self-guided and three weeks for a guided tour. For guided tours you will need approximatly two hours depending on group size. Guided tours are scheduled for all grade levels but are most appropriate for 3rd grade - adult.  Payment will be made upon arrival and must be paid in one payment. Cash, check (with ID), VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. To schedule a tour e-mail gmorey@annistonmuseum.org or call 256-237-6766 and choose either ext 114 or ext 116. 

A confirmation card  will be mailed to you providing information including fees, location map and general guidlines for visiting. To ensure the best possible Museum experience for you and your group, please read this guide carefully.

Educational Resource Trunks

Bring the world into your classroom with hands-on items, activities, books, DVDs, videos, and more! Educational Trunks are based on the Alabama State Course of Study (COS) for Social Studies in grades 7-12. These trunks were developed in conjunction with the teachers of Calhoun County L.A.S.T.I.N.G. grant project. Visit www.calhoun.k12.al.us/lasting/index.html for more information on this project.
