Out of the Vault Exhibit Series Presents
Peculiar Possessions: An Eclectic Collection
Now Showing: Second Floor Changing Exhibits Gallery
Regular museum Hours; Included in Admission
Tour Berman Museum’s newest changing exhibit, the second in our popular Out of the Vault series, which brings items from the dark recesses of the basement vault up into the light of day. Peculiar Possessions: An Eclectic Collection showcases some of the Museum’s most unusual and difficult to categorize items, including implements of torture, exotic masks, deadly spy weapons and unusual combination weapons. Col. Berman and his wife Germaine were, among other things, connoisseurs of the unusual, and these items represent some of the most unique pieces from their own collection. Informative text panels and graphic illustrations lead the viewer through this weird, sometimes dark and occasionally humorous assortment of artifacts from around the globe.
