Berman Museum of World History is proud to partner with Shotgun Sports Supply Company in presenting Berman Museum Gun of the Month This month's featured weapon: The Bergmann-Bayard M19/21 9mm pistol was originally designed by Danish gunmaker Theodore Bergmann and was used as the official sidearm of Denmark, Belgium, Greece, and Spain. They were produced until 1935 and used by the Danish army until 1943 when it was replaced by the Browning High Power. It was also used by the Danish resistance movement during German occupation of their country.  Drop by Shotgun Sports Supply Company at 1414 US Highway 431, Anniston, and marvel at these unique weapons that reflect changing ideas on engineering and technology through the ages. |
